Recently on Dec. 17, 2018, the Klein Cain Chorale was invited to perform at South Main Baptist Church in January. Additionally, the Houston Chamber Choir, the only fully professional choir in the greater Houston area, recognized Cain Choir over their accomplishments. Furthermore, Cain’s Chorale will be one of eight high school Choral groups in the city performing.

I received a personal invitation just yesterday for Choral to perform as one of only eight high school Choral groups in the city in what is being called a VIP choral clinic,” director Austin Dean said at their winter concert.

The Houston Chamber Choir is sponsoring the event and is free of charge for the Cain ensemble.

“The great Choral groups in the state beg to be able to sing at South Main Baptist,” Dean said.

Additionally, the choir program has developed over the past two years and has had its share of accomplishments and opportunities. One being their performance at a Rockets game earlier this year. With talented students involved, the program has strived to impress their supporters.

“We are thrilled and humbled that the work of these students is already being noticed in this way and at this level,” Dean said.
