With Thanksgiving rearing its turkey head next Thursday, we asked students here at Klein Cain what it is that they are thankful for right now. Whether that be their pets, families, or our amazing Klein Cain teachers, we send our gratitude!

With the last few years being a rough time for many students, a lot of people have shared their thanks for their furry friends.

“I am innately grateful for my cat, Lightning. She has gotten me through some rough times, and I likely wouldn’t be here if not for her unconditional love and support throughout the years,” says Savannah Shannon.

Some students showed their thankfulness for their siblings and all they have done for them in their life.

“I am thankful for my sister because she has been with me through thick and thin. She is truly my best friend and I have no clue what I would do without her,” says Ashtyn Grice, a Klein Cain Freshman.

Teacher and staff here at Cain were also a common thing many Hurricanes were thankful for.

“I am thankful for my good teachers for my freshman year. These teachers made the transition from a year of online school to in-person high school much easier,” says Christian Gou, a Freshman.

Don’t forget to say thank you to the people you are grateful for this holiday season. And look out for more Thanksgiving articles to gobble up the rest of this week, here on Cain Live!
